6 1/2" (17 cm.) Bisque socket head depicting a grey tabby cat, painted green side-glancing googly eyes, closed mouth with wide smile, beaded upper teeth, grey paper mache body with fur combmarks, painted red boots, antique military costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9198 Heubach (in block). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: the rarity of the little cat is rivaled by its charming mischievous expression.
