Description
17" (43 cm). Solid domed bisque socket head,
blonde painted baby hair with forelock curl, blue
glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the
eyecut, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows,
accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth,
shaded and accented lips, two porcelain upper
teeth, composition bent limb baby body.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: JDK made
in Germany 14. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912,
their model later registered as "Hilda". Value
Points: especially fine quality of modeling,
bisque and painting, original body and body
finish.
