Description
16" (40 cm). Pressed and painted cloth head with
center hair seam, brown hair swirled across the
forehead, nicely shaped ears, brown painted eyes
with shaded detail, white eyedots, black pupils,
black upper eyeliner, brown eye shadow, single
stroke brows, blushed cheeks, closed mouth, all
cloth body with stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-
jointed legs with side-hip jointing, separately
stitched thumbs. Condition: generally excellent,
few paint rubs on hair. Comments: Kathe Kruse,
circa 1920. Value Points: very beautiful model
with wonderfully painted features lending a
distinctive expression, original finish well
preserved, costume may be original.
