Description
11" x 8" (28 x 20 cm) box, 7" (18 cm) doll. A
firm-sided box is richly decorated with an
engraving of a woman playing paper dolls with
three children; the boy holds the doll, and
another girl is showing the open box. Inside is
presented a double-sided paper doll inscribed on
the base "Journal des Jeunes Personnes", an
additional unlabelled double-sided paper doll,
and six double-sided costumes. Excellent
condition, circa 1860.
