Description
22" (56 cm). Bisque socket head, dark blue glass
paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes with dot
highlights, fringed brows, accented eye corners,
shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips,
auburn mohair wig over cork pate, French
composition and wooden fully jointed body with
hinged and pull-string right elbow designed to
toss kisses. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: Bru JneR 9. Comments: Bru, circa 1892.
Value Points: very pretty closed mouth bebe with
lovely bisque, original body and body finish,
antique aqua taffeta dress and lace bonnet appear
original.
