Description
16" (40 cm). Bisque socket head with highly
characterized features, blue glass flirty eyes,
fringed upper lashes, comma-shaped brows with
modeling detail, rounded nose, wide beaming smile
on closed mouth, deeply impressed dimples on
cheeks, red mohair wig, composition ball-jointed
body with side-hip jointing, modeled shoes and
socks, antique costume. Condition: the head is
cracked on front left and back, eye rim flake.
Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 124. Comments: "Moritz"
from the Kammer and Reinhardt art character
series, based upon a character in the Wilhelm
Busch story books, circa 1914, made for a few
years only. Value Points: extremely rare
character doll with uniquely sculpted features
used for this doll only, with unique original
body.
