12" (30 cm). Bisque socket head, dark blue glass
paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes with dot
highlights, brushstroked and multi-feathered
brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed
mouth with outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over
cork pate, French composition and wooden fully
jointed body with eight loose-ball-joints,
straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: J 4. Comments: attributed to Joanny, circa
1886. Value Points: appealing petite size of the
rare model bebe has finest quality of bisque and
expressively painted features, antique costume
includes white fur coat, dress, undergarments,
lace cap, brown leather shoes.
