Description
17" (43 cm). Bisque socket head with rounded
facial shape, small brown glass googly sleep eyes
glancing to the right, long painted curly lashes,
arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye
corners, closed mouth with wide beaming smile,
accented lips with deeply impressed dimples at
lip corners, brunette mohair wig, composition and
wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip
jointing and very chubby tummy. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: 173 ã 9. Comments:
the "Jubilee Doll" was made by Hertel and Schwab
for Strobel and Willkin, circa 1915. Value
Points: rare large size googly with very choicest
bisque enhanced by deeply modeled dimples at eye
and mouth corners, wonderful body with well
rendered chubby baby rolls and tummy.
