Pressed bisque socket head, pale blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading and darker outer rims, prominent black pupils, dark eyeliner encircles the eyesockets, delicately painted lashes and brows, mauve blushed eyeshadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, Jumeau all-wooden body with dowel- articulation at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, straight wrists, cupped hands. Condition: generally excellent, one shoulder ball-joint is repainted. Marks: 1 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (incised on back torso). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1878.
