Description
15" (38 cm). Bisque shoulderhead with elongated
throat, cornflower blue glass enamel inset eyes,
painted lashes and brows, accented eye corners
and nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips,
modeled yellow bonnet in straw design decorated
with wrapped ribbon and tri-color feathers, brown
hair waved away from face, modeled and pierced
ears, modeled fancy bodice with Dresden style
ruffled edging and painted lace design, muslin
body, cinched waist, bisque lower limbs, painted
boots, lace and satin gown. Condition: generally
excellent, little chip on boot toes. Comments:
Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: very rare
modeled bonnet lady with glass eyes, pierced ears
and fancy bodice.
