10" (25 cm). Bisque socket head, deep blue glass
paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered
brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed
mouth with center accent line, pierced ears,
blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, Steiner
composition body jointed at shoulders and hips,
nicely costumed in antique lace dress,
undergarments, knit stockings, brown leather
shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J.
Steiner Bte SGDG Fre A 3 (head) (paper label of
doll holding flag, on body). Comments: Jules
Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: appealing
petite bebe with pretty bisque and painting,
original body and body finish.
