Description
9" (23 cm). Bisque socket head, blue glass inset
eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows,
accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth,
accented lips, four tiny teeth, brunette mohair
wig, composition body jointed at shoulders and
hip, painted black boots. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 15/0 *80. Comments: the Phenix
star model of Mettais, successor to the Jules
Steiner firm, circa 1895. Value Points: the rare
model wears his original blue felt uniform with
gold braid and buttons, matching cap.
