Description
14" (35 cm). Silver grey mohair teddy has mohair-
over-composition swivel head, mouth modeled open
with paper mache teeth and movable tongue,
glass "flirty" eyes, stitched ears, jointed limbs
with felt paws, blue neck ribbon. Condition:
generally excellent, growler not functioning.
Marks: "Peter" ges gesch Nr. 895257 (paper
label). Comments: circa 1924, one of the first
models of Peter Bear, produced by Gebruder
Sussenguth of Germany, the bear was designed that
the eyes and tongue would move simultaneously;
the system was patented. Value Points: rare size
and color of the Peter Bear in pristine
condition, with original label and box.
