17" (43 cm). Composition socket-head, green sleep
eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes, open
mouth, teeth, blonde human hair in original
arranged coiffure, five-piece composition body.
Excellent condition, eyes faded. Marks: Princess
Elizabeth Madame Alexander (doll and costume).
The doll wears her original magenta taffeta gown
with lace trim, cream velvet cape with ermine
trim, petticoat, pants, gold shoes and socks,
metallic headband. The doll has her original
Princess Elizabeth hang tag with illustration of
the doll, and original box with gold label having
photograph of the doll, identified as model
#3984M. Circa 1937.
