Description
14" (35 cm). Composition socket-head with painted
facial features, pale blue eyes, closed mouth
with wide smile, deep cheek dimples, grey mohair
wig, five-piece composition body. Excellent
condition, missing spectacles. Marks: Madame
Alexander New York (costume). The doll,
portraying Doctor Dafoe of Dionne Quintuplets
fame, wears his original cotton doctor’s uniform
with tunic, shoes, socks. The face was uniquely
modeled for this doll. Circa 1936.
