Description
16" (40 cm). Each has firmly shaped black velvet
body with shaped nose, stitched-on lavender lined
ears, tufts of "fur" (actually curly black yarn)
at top of head, nose, paws, ear tips, collar and
tail, lavender and white felt eyeliner, large
black bead eyes, heart-shaped mouth. Excellent
condition. Marks: Madame Alexander New York
(cloth tag on each). He has brass monocle, white
felt collar and bow-tie, lapel flower; she has
magenta bow in hair, metallic trimmed magenta
silk-like neck bow, lapel roses. Circa 1950.
