Description
20" (51 cm). Cloth mask-face with pressed and
painted facial features, large round side-
glancing eyes, painted upper lashes, tiny clothed
mouth, brown fleece-yarn hair in marcelled curls,
pink stockinette firmly stuffed body. Excellent
condition. Marks: "Little Shaver" Madame
Alexander New York (cloth tag on costume). The
doll wears original blue taffeta blouse with
attached peach nylon skirt with attached pink
cotton petticoat, matching panties, blue taffeta
purse with little flowers, black lace fingerless
gloves, a posy of flowers with black net at top
of head, black velvet shoes. Circa 1940.
