Description
18" (46 cm). Hard plastic socket-head with
Margaret face, blue sleep eyes, real lashes,
painted lower lashes, umber tinted eyeshadow,
closed mouth with rich red lips, dark blonde hair
very elaborate factory-original coiffure, five-
piece hard plastic walking body. Excellent
condition. Marks: Madame Alexander (costume). The
doll wears "elaborate white brocade court gown
and blue Sash of the Garter order" according to
her description in the 1953 Alexander catalog,
along with long taffeta-lined purple velvet cape
with faux-ermine trim, hooped petticoat, panties,
stockings, one-strap shoes, fingerless elbow-
length gloves, tiara, jewelled earrings and
