15" (38 cm). Hard plastic socket-head, blue
sleep eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes,
closed mouth, brunette hair in original factory
coiffure, five-piece hard plastic walking body.
Excellent condition, missing wand. Marks: Madame
Alexander (tag). The doll, representing "the
gracious and lovely television star of N.B.C.
whose program is seen from coast to coast
weekly", wears an exact miniature gown of one of
the starÕs gowns, of aqua taffeta with overskirt
above the hooped floor-length under skirt, rose
petal trim, sequined coronet, aqua panties,
stockings, silver shoes. The doll appeared in the
1954 Alexander catalog.
