Description
18" (46 cm). Hard plastic socket-head with Maggie
face, large blue sleep eyes, real lashes, painted
lower side lashes, umber eyeshadow, closed mouth,
auburn hair, five-piece walking body. Excellent
condition except torso faded. Marks: Madame
Alexander (costume). The doll wears yellow
taffeta ballgown with tulle overskirt and tulle
edging, hairband with flowers at each side,
yellow taffeta panties, stockings, gold shoes.
The doll appeared as Rosamund, described as a
bridesmaid, model #1551, in the 1953 Alexander
catalog.
