Description
20" (51 cm). Hard plastic socket-head, blue sleep
eyes, real lashes, closed mouth, black sequined
skull cap with exaggerated curls and attached
dangle earrings, seven-piece vinyl adult-shaped
body. Excellent condition, face darkened, one
skate blade missing. Marks: Alexander. The doll
wears official costume of the 1962-63 Ice Capades
depicting "My Fair Lady", comprising sequined
tightly-fitted costume with overskirt, short
jacket, wide sash, very wide sequined hat with
stylized feathers, sequin-trimmed skates. The
costume was created by the costume designers of
Ice Capades for their special-edition programs;
they are one-of-a-kind costumes made to custom-
fit Cissy and in perfect miniature scale of the
life-size costumes. Circa 1962.
