Description
18" (46 cm). Hard plastic socket-head, green
sleep eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes,
closed mouth with lip color to exactly match her
gown, brunette hair in long curls and short
bangs, adult-shaped body. Excellent condition.
Marks: Madame Alexander (costume tag), "The Story
Princess Doll", Madame Alexander (paper tag on
wrist with illustration of the castle where she
lived). The doll, representing "the lovely star
of N.B.C. television" is described in the 1956
Alexander catalog, wearing deep rose tulle gown
with narrow pleats, ruffled neckline, taffeta
skirt, pantalets, silver shoes, silver tiara with
faux-jewels and carrying a magic wand. Model
#1892, 1956 only.
