Each doll wears original costume, comprising Beth with Maggie face, blue printed skirt with embroidery to suggest apron; Jo with Maggie face, blue checkered dress and red pinafore; Meg with light brown hair, blue flowered dress and cherry sateen pinafore; Amy with blue polka dotted dress and black velvet sash; and Marme with striped cotton dress with black satin apron and black velvet collar and cuffs. Each with original undergarments, shoes and socks. Marme and Amy were shown in these costumes in the 1954 Alexander catalogs, and have walker style bodies. Circa 1954.
