15" (38 cm). Hard plastic socket-head, blue sleep
eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes, rosy
cheeks, dark blonde hair in original factory
coiffure with forehead bangs, hair drawn away
from face into topknot and pageboy curls held by
snood, five-piece hard plastic walker style body.
Excellent condition. Marks: Louisa M. AlcottÕs
Little Women "Meg" by Madame Alexander (costume).
The doll wears her original white cotton gown
printed with blue roses, blue polished cotton
apron, white lace-edged collar and cuffs,
petticoat, pantalets, shoes and socks. The model
appeared in the 1954 Alexander catalog.
