Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, with extra articulation allowing the head to tilt side-to-side and forward as well as swivel, small blue glass spiral-threaded eyes with darker blue iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pertly-shaped accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 (head and shoulders) 4 (inside wig) Au Nain Bleu Maison Chauviere Boul des Capucines Paris (paper label on torso). Comments: French, circa 1867.
