The black heavy sheet metal stove has cast iron stove top with six large burners, cast iron oven and firewood doors with richly embossed nickel- plated trim and borders, the oven handle is attached to a nickel-plated medallion embossed "Midget"; the firewood door has nickel plated label "Belleville Stove Works, Belleville, Ill." with interior cast iron grill; and the ash door is entirely nickel-plated in fretwork Art Nouveau style and has tin ash drawer inside. The stove has a black sheet metal back with nickel- plated brackets and nickel-plated edging around the roll-top warming oven. There is a tapered tin chimney.
