Of plain black cast iron devoid of embossed designs, the stove features range top (repaired at back corner) with six burners, crest back disguising a chimney cover, working damper at back of burners, gracefully shaped apron and legs (nickel worn on legs), nickel framed oven door with white porcelain medallion center labeled "Baby Hazel" in blue enamel, oven rack, hinged door for coal, ash bin door, side grate door, shaking opening at the side with unusual curved lid. The stove is embossed "Rome Stove and Range Co. Rome, Ga." American, circa 1910, Rome Stove and Range Co. 15"H. 17"W. 9"D.
