Description
The heavy cast iron stove is very ornately
embossed with scroll and foliage design, with
heavy piano legs, six burner range with lidded
reservoir, very ornate chimney cover with crest,
two teapot shelves and a decorative shelf,
fretwork warming shelf, hinged oven door
embossed "Marvel", working damper, working grate
door at the front and side with internal grates,
openwork detachable hearth embossed "Marvel
Range" at the right with detachable grill cover,
lifting handle. The stove was offered in two
styles in 1910 era catalogs, either as nickel-
plated (#945) or electro oxidized (#946).
