Description
The iron stove has nickel finish (quite worn),
four burners, reservoir with incised decorations
on lid, removable side hearth with embossed
floral decorations, removable warming shelf,
working oven door embossed "Queen", decorative
apron with shell design. Incised "Pat. September
23, 1902" on back with elaborate decorations.
American, circa 1905, J&E Stevens of Cromwell,
Connecticut, the stove was listed as model 53 in
their catalog and was sold without fancy chimney
cover. It is a budget version of their Acme
model. 6"H. 9"W. 6"D.
