Description
A heavy cast iron stove with nickel-plated finish
is embellished with elaborately embossed scrolls
on apron, doors and warming plates. There are six
burners and lidded reservoir, front oven door
with embossed lettering "Model", grate door,
shakable grate, side oven door (possibly
replaced), wide hearth at the side with embossed
lettering "Model Range", nickel-plated ash cover,
elaborate chimney cover with warming cupboard and
two warming plates attached to the chimney (each
with fretwork lettering "Model"). The stove has
four claw feet. Embossed "Kenton Brand" on back
of stove. American, circa 1900, Kenton, the stove
