The black cast iron framed stove has large scrolled embossed designs in flowing Art Nouveau manner, and rests upon four nickel-plated piano-style legs. The nickel-plated range top has six cast iron burners (four with T bars) and reservoir lid. The nickel-plated oven door, with similar Art Nouveau designs and a triangular symbol with embossed design of buck head and the words "Buck's Stove & Ranges", opens to a shelf and baking pan. There is a nickel-plated shelf below the oven, nickel-plated grate doors at side and front and nickel-plated warming hearth (piece missing). The very elaborate nickel-plated chimney cover supports the original tin chimney and cast iron warming shelf. The stove is embossed "Buck's Junior 2" on the range top, and "Buck's Stove & Range Co. St. Louis, Mo." on the side. American, circa 1900, Buck's Stove and Range Co., St. Louis. 23"H. 38"H. (with chimney). 23"W. 12"D.
