Description
The heavy cast stove rests on cast iron base
(needs repair at back hinge). The stove is
entirely nickel-plated except grate door, having
six burner range with T-bar construction,
unusual water reservoir with tin removable
lining and black cast iron frame and lid with
stencilled decorations. The oval-shaped
chimney has fretwork brackets enclosing the
letter "B", and a very wide warming shelf below
a crest lettered "BuckZs Stove & Range
Co.".
There is another warming shelf that attaches
behind the chimney, lettered "BuckZs
Junior".
The stove features a large oven with shelf, and
two other opening oven doors, damper, side
grill opening door, wide side hearth with
detachable plate. The oven door is embossed
"BuckZs Stoves". American, circa 1900.
