Description
The urn-shaped cast iron parlor stove has
finial top, richly embellished designs ,
side-opening door for insertion of wood,
rounded hearth , four legs, chimney hole. The
stove is labeled in several places, viz. "The
Pet", "Adams, Peckover and Co.", and "Pat'd
1857". American, circa 1860, Adams,
Peckover and Company, a nearly identical
stove was made by John Clark of Albany, New
