Description
17" (43 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique gentleman's costume including woolen pants, shirt, silk patterned vest, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 Germany K&H (in banner) 525. Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1915. Value Points: great expression achieved by deeply-sculpted features, rarer glass-eyed variation of the 525 model, wonderful costume on original body with original body finish.
