Description
The polished tinplate stove with gunpowder
blue finish has three silver-finished oven
doors with embossed designs and porcelain
knobs, silver columns, silver drying bar that
extends around three sides, and
silver-painted cast iron claw feet. The
silver-plated top (worn) has six pot holes on
which are resting an assortment of tinplate
cooking pots: lidded pot with spoon and
spoon holder, two steamer pots, kettle, cake
tin, lidded coffee pot (missing finial) and
square water boiler with lid. The pots are not
original to the stove, but are appropriately
sized and of the same production era.
