Description
The heavy cast iron stove has four burner top
with T-bars, lifter, chimney hole, ogee-shaped
border, double-hinged grate doors with
embossed design and arched shape, large
hearth with ogee-shaped edge, oven that
opens at both sides, oven doors decorated
with floral and berry design, four cabriole
shaped feet. The name "Little Willie" appears
above grate doors, and "Abbott and Noble,
Philadelphia" and "3" on sides. American,
circa 1885, Abbott and Noble, the original
foundry patterns were made in the 1860Zs
although the stove continued in production as
late as 1897. The stove was advertised as "a
present for the little ones. Will cook and bake
