23" (58 cm). Having pale bisque shoulder head with very plump modeling of facial features, rounded cheeks and chin, dark blue enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircling the eye sockets, painted lashes, mauve blushed eyeshadow, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, unpierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French kid fashion body with gusset jointing at elbows, hips and knees, separately stitched fingers. The doll wears an exquisite white cotton summer dress with detailed hand embroidery, undergarments, leather shoes, and French straw 'Ó deux bonjours' bonnet. Unmarked, attributed to the Barrois doll firm, circa 1860.
