Description
17" (43 cm). Having a pressed bisque swivel head on bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, black eyeliner encircling the eye sockets, delicately painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears and brunette mohair wig over cork pate. The kid lady body has shapely torso, gusset-jointing at hips, knees and elbows, stitched and separated fingers. The doll wears an early bronze green silk faille gown with fringed peach silk banding, undergarments, stockings, shoes, and very elegant early straw bonnet. Circa 1870.
