Of fancily carved wood with elegant ribbed patterns on spindles and stretchers, the chair is finished in fine gold leaf, the blue silk capitonne (tufted) seat is trimmed with matching blue braid and tiny brass studs. Perfectly sized for display with 16-18" poupees. 12"H. Circa 1870.
