Description
24" (61 cm). Having very plump face and throat,
the pale-complexioned porcelain doll has light
brown hair arranged in elaborate finger curls,
with tiny curls onto the forehead and tumbling
onto the shoulders, arranged curls at the crown
held by a painted black comb, fully sculpted ears
with excellent detail, pale blue painted eyes,
red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brown
brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with
accent line between the pale lips, blushed
cheeks, later muslin stitch-jointed body, kid
leather arms. The doll wears a vintage style gown
of antique fabrics, undergarments, and old
leather boots. Circa 1880. From the Collection of
