The miniature paper bound book, Les Heures
Serieuses de Lily, is a moral lesson in behavior;
Lily was the name of the poupee presented by
Madame Lavalle-Peronne from her luxury boutique A
La Poupee de Nuremberg, and the book was designed
and offered as an accessory of that doll. Along
with eleven tiny calling cards in various designs
each lettered Mlle Louise Cassat. 1 1/ 2" x 1"
book. Circa 1865.
