Description

A very delicate two-piece gown in superbly preserved condition is created of sheer peach muslin, with rounded neck and short puffed sleeves with lining constructed to hold the shape of the sleeve, hook and eye front closure, full skirt having slightly extended back length, three sewn-down box-pleated lappets edged with exquisite scalloped edge 1"W lace, matching trim at the hem and neckline. Included is a wire- framed bonnet or headdress with silk ribbons and matching lace. Appropriately sized for 13"-14" lady doll or poupee. Circa 1867.
