Description
18" (46 cm). A very pale complexioned lady doll
has pressed bisque swivel head on bisque shoulder
plate, her head attachment allowing side-to-side
and forward tilt as well as swivel, very rich
cobalt blue glass enamel eyes with dark eyeliner,
painted lashes, feathered brows, accented
nostrils, closed mouth with pale outlined lips,
softly blushed cheeks, pierced ears, blonde
mohair wig over cork pate. The doll has an all-
wooden body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at
shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, and is wearing
an antique blouse, cashmere woolen skirt with
star motif, undergarments, knit stockings, black
leather ankle boots, black snood with blue silk
ribbon. Circa 1867
