Of fine white porcelain hand-painted with magenta and gilt backgrounds, and delicately rendered exotic birds, the service comprises an oval tray and six handled cups with lids. The service is preserved in its original faux-leather silk lined box. French, circa 1870. Perfectly sized for display with 16"-17" poupees.
