Description
Of natural straw with rounded flat top and
slightly down-turned sides, the bonnet is
decorated with black silk banding and streamers
and a froth of delicately curled feathers off-
setting rose silk petals. The bonnet is silk-
lined, and its meticulous detailing indicates
creation by a milliner such as Mlle Bereux. Circa
1865. Appropriately sized for 14"_15" poupee.
