Description
Of intricately woven straw whose brim is
interwoven with black threads, the bonnet has an
upturned back trim, and is decorated with narrow
silk banding, silk flowers, velvet bows, and an
inside brim border of pleated tulle. The bonnet
is preserved in original white moirë paper band
box with floral decoupage on lid. 3"W bonnet. 1
1/ 4" inside brim. Circa 1870.
