Description
Of finely woven yet crisp turquoise silk taffeta,
the two piece gown features a flat front flared
skirt with box pleats at the back for fullness
and set-in waistband, and matching hip-length
jacket with flared back and sides, fitted bodice,
and a double row of brown silk-covered buttons
with frog-style brown cord closures. The ensemble
is decorated with hand-stitched brown silk
banding that edges the jacket, shoulders, cuffs
and hemline. Appropriately sized for 22" poupee.
