Description
17" (43 cm). All muslin doll with flat-
dimensional face enclosed within sewn-on lace-
edged blue bonnet back, painted blonde curls
around the face, painted facial features, shaded
blue eyes, painted eyeliner and lashes, nose
outline, closed mouth with outlined lips, stitch-
jointed body with mitten hands, separate thumb,
defined waist. Condition: generally excellent,
body near mint. Comments: circa 1920. Value
Points: the hand-painted doll has original
stitched blue bonnet under knit bonnet, wears
original matching blue chambray cotton dress with
white pinafore, undergarments, shoes and socks.
