Description
14" (35 cm). Carved wooden socket head with
carved hair arranged with centerpart and drawn
back in loose braids to be tied by blue bow at
back of head, intaglio brown eyes with white
eyedots, thin eyeliner and brows, accented
nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with
outlined lips, all wooden spring-jointed body
with holes in feet for positioning. Condition:
generally excellent, some typical paint fading on
hair and nose tip. Comments: Schoenhut, circa
1912. Value Points: rarer model with most
appealing expression, antique costume includes
white dress with lace trim, undergarment,
stockings and Schoenhut shoes with original
grommeted sole holes.
