24" (61 cm). Bisque socket head, blue/grey glass
paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles
the eyecut, painted lashes, brushstroked and
multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners,
shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space
between the shaded and outlined lips, pierced
ears, brunette mohair wig, French composition and
wooden fully jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 11. Comments: Bru,
circa 1890. Value Points: the transitional model
bebe has finest quality bisque and painting,
original body and body finish, beautiful antique
silk and velvet costume.
